In the talk, we bring you our learnings on how to navigate RPA and scale it to Intelligent Automation successfully to bring real value to your organization.

As you all know, RPA has become a catalyst for a bigger digital transformation. While RPA talks about automating a repeatable process, a lot more can be done by combining RPA with AI, Cognitive, or other evolving technologies. Therefore, we need to build intelligence around RPA to solve end-to-end business problems around Natural Language Processing, ChatBots, OCR, AI/ML, among others.

At Lowe’s, we have been using a known industry application and delivered a lot of usecases utilizing its platform. However, we have also been working on our own Internal Intelligent Automation Platform, which can complement this application. Over the years, we successfully built capabilities around OCR, Internal ChatBot, and a reporting engine using Elastic, helping us expand our scope for automation and preparing us for the future once we exhaust our pipeline of simple, repeatable processes.

Saurabh Batra is a Senior Director, Technology at Lowe’s India. Saurabh is responsible for Technology Automation and Productivity services at Lowe’s, including managing Intelligent Automation(RPA), Enterprise Event Management, Telemetry, and Internal technology for technology functions for the Lowe’s Enterprise. Saurabh has over 22 years of technology experience working in Global Capability Centres, playing various technical, competency, and management roles. Saurabh has worked extensively in ERP, Analytics, and Web technologies solutions over the years. Before Lowe’s, Saurabh was in Sony for 14 years and had worked in management roles, supporting technology needs for Sony Asia Pacific, Sony Latin America, and Sony Europe while managing global teams across these regions. His current focus is on building the RPA capabilities for Lowe’s using Enterprise RPA tools and Open-source technologies.

Saurabh is deeply passionate about building high-performance global teams that are problem solvers for business with the power of technology.

All investment banks have RPA in their agenda as part of their Digital Transformation journey. I would like to share my experience and what are Dos and Don'ts while applying RPA to any business process within the bank. I have applied it to a very high priority & complex process and achieved good savings.

In this session, I will walk audience through the challenges faced and how to solve common issues in any solution to help deploy RPA scripts in production.
