X Topic Abstract

There are a ton of best practices in the operations world. But what really makes sense for your team? The reality is that one size doesn't fit all. Lean is a framework for designing and optimising processes. Let's apply it to a typical incident management process and see what comes of it.
Description:
Lean Thinking is an analysis framework that has revolutionised various domains like manufacturing and software development. It's principles are:
Optimize the whole
Eliminate waste
Create knowledge
Build quality in
Deliver fast by managing flow
Defer commitment
Respect people
We will look at each of these principles and apply them to the incident management lifecycle. At the end of this we will see why certain best practises make sense, practices that aren't common but should be and common practises which are probably not very helpful

X Topic Abstract

This will be an interactive session with participants where we together explore akin to how in a "Health Check up" through a blood sample collected through that small test tube of blood droplets whole body wellness is holistically but objectively assessed, ailments detected and preventive or even reactive consultation / cure given by Medical Consultants.
Which Agile Artefact/ Role/ Ceremony in an Agile Team is that drop of blood where is which the wellness can be holistically but objectively assessed participants as Agile Consultants can provide recommendation to their teams and customers .
The exploration will eventually lead to Life Cycle of user story is akin to that sample of blood through which the wellness of an Agile team can be assessed in a holistic way just like how a blood sample gives a holistic assessment of one's bodies wellness.
Then I will bring about strategies to improve Life Cycle of user story blending in practical approaches I have from my coaching experience across customers in BDD, TDD, Agile Work Breakdown and also best practices to author an user story
I have a youtube link of similar talk I have given in another conference attached below, in this talk I will emphasis more on Life cycle of user story and also best practices for user story authoring.

Naturally gifted skills | Product Enthusiast | Entrepreneur | Businessman

I was selling 3G dongles at different locations in Bangalore in 2009. I was selling them so effectively, someone noticed my skills, interviewed me for a software testing position, offered an internship and then later became a full time tester. I tested some of India's top apps and also at customer locations outside India. I was professionally on par.

I needed a better challenge. I saved some money, quit the job, and tried doing my own app. What a journey. I failed with it, burnt my money but had gained sufficient experience in identifying the gap between developers - testing - businesses.
