X Topic Abstract

API is a set of clearly defined methods of communication among various components. An API when made better with UX research method makes it easier to develop a computer program by providing all the building blocks, which can later be then put together by the programmer easily.

If UX is for humans to interact with the face of a software, in same manner API is for programmers/developers who interact with it behind the scenes and makes the software functional.

Hence, as a designer, it becomes very important to keep in mind the functionality, as that is what acts as a bridge between user and stakeholders. Making smooth interaction between all the parties involved in making a software happen becomes one of the most important role of a UX Designer.

Speaker Profile
