In recent times, cloud applications have not only taken off for enterprise usage but also for personal segment. In person cloud applications, users access their content on Cloud and perform various operations with that content.

There is a constant sync between cloud and native content that allows users to secure their content on Cloud. Moreover, each user has different amount of content on Cloud, type of content with respect to file types & size, and upload content at different points of time. Due to such variations for each user, the functional testing might be straightforward but the non-functional tests with respect to performance becomes very challenging. Furthermore, the variations in signal strengths with respect to Wi-Fi or network adds to the complexity of performance testing. Due to these variations, automating testing process to measure performance KPIs such as page load time or Cumulative Layout Shift time are difficult to measure. However, it will be incredibly valuable to automate the performance testing by considering the multitude of variations. This session is to highlight the challenges and explore solutions available to automate the process.

Knowledge work in the context of ever increasing complexity and speed of change. Organizations report me that they experience an ever increasing pressure to deliver, that the priorities keep changing and that people feel undervalued. People run around the whole day to get things foreword and at the end of the day they are exhausted and realize that they still have to start doing the stuff they planned for that day. In our new context of increasing complexity just working harder is only going to make things worse. This talk is a visual simulation of work. You will see what causes these symptoms and above all what you can do about it. Work smarter not harder.

The last 10 years of his career Jan is active as an organizational coach. He is helping organizations to deal with and even thrive in a world where complexity and the speed of change is ever increasing. The bottom-up approach usually used in agile transformations is morphing into cultural transformations. This means the whole company in all his aspects are changing. Benefits are numerous and include lower upfront costs, impressive scalability, faster setup and many more. That's why a large number of projects are being migrated to the cloud. At the same time, a vast majority of new projects use cloud services. Even though cloud technology provides a lot of benefits, the challenge of testing these systems still exists, especially in testing business logic. Azure is a cloud computing service created by Microsoft,one of the biggest cloud providers at the moment. I will share my experience in working on an Azure-based solution.

Spend about 20 months with Oracle, as a member of the core team developing NGP, which is now known as OBP (Oracle Banking Platform) for National Australi Bank (NAB).
