Overview of the event

Machine learning is a field of artificial intelligence that uses statistical techniques to give computer systems the ability to "learn from data, without being explicitly programmed.

The "deep" in "deep learning" refers to the number of layers through which the data is transformed. Deep Learning is a new area of Machine Learning research, which has been introduced with the objective of moving Machine Learning closer to its original goals. In deep learning, each level learns to transform its input data into a slightly more abstract and composite representation.

X Topic Abstract

Unlike so many hyped technologies and overrated buzzwords, machine learning is not going away — probably ever. The ability of computer programs to learn on their own and improve over time creates new opportunities for industries across the board. While it is true that the naturally conservative financial industry was not at the front of the line for ML adoption, machine learning in fintech is now a common phrase. It offers a new level of service for financial forecasting, customer service, and data security. The session would cover various use cases of machine learning and its impact to transform the financial services industry.
