From CGI standpoint we understand that activities such as technical and administrative are very similar in Application Management and Infrastructure Management. For example: Release to Production, Security and User Administration, Patch Administration, Infrastructure Provisioning and so on. The ease of putting them together provides a great opportunity to integrate both Infrastructure and Application support activities into an integrated robust support function.

CGI-Intelligent Automation Platform (IAP) an autonomic and cognitive enabled automation platform will leverage analytics to:

• A comprehensive view of monitoring data, triage and incident remediation

• Build and manage automation workflows processes that need to be run

• Continuously learns the solutions to be applied automatically to handle any recurring issues

• Record operational measures and report predictable outcomes

X Topic Abstract

X Topic Abstract

Preface
More than one-third of current and potential SaaS users believe that their provider is responsible for protecting data, which is not true. With cloud providing lower costs, flexibility, scalability, and high-performance, most organizations are making use of cloud solutions in addition to on-premise ones. For adequate data protection on the cloud, they need to have clear strategy for the classification of data, establish appropriate data protection rules and enable automation to govern the implementation of rules. Instead of asking the question ‘Is my Cloud Secure?’, they should be asking themselves - ‘Am I using Cloud securely?’

In the sessiion:
With this in mind, the talk will provide practical insights for organizations who invest in building a Master Data Management Metadata solution that enables enterprise-wide data discoverability and visibility into data communications, to be well-positioned to have better data protection governance.

X Topic Abstract

Digital reinvention provides the opportunity to disrupt and respond to disruptions but requires transformations in how innovative software is built, managed and monitored. DevSecOps super patterns are evolving to serve a digitally reinvented enterprise. DevSecOps will leverage process, methods and tools across life cycle for agility and scalability coupled with solution operation center to provide integrated service management and operations capability to establish an IT environment that is so automated and abstracted from underlying infrastructure that there is no need for a dedicated team to manage software in-house leading to NoOps Nirvana.

X Topic Abstract

* Key aspects of Cloud, migration strategies, adoption across the industry,
* Focus on cloud architecture and key services of AWS and Azure
* Public Vs Private Vs Hybrid cloud, various options available
* Containers and its evolution, some of the popular options for implementation- Open Source/Standalone Vs Cloud-native
* Monitoring tools/options for containerized workloads, the role of Containers in CI/CD
* Container Orchestration platforms with a key focus on Kubernetes, cloud-native services like EKS, AKS, GKE, etc

X Topic Abstract

Most of the enterprises start their cloud journey by lifting and shifting the application on IaaS offerings like EC2 and PaaS offering like RDS. Often you have some Start-of-Day/End-of-Day (sod/eod) complex series of processes like some scheduled process to close the business day, prepare the next business day or create a report for daily activity. In this talk we look at how Enterprise can move these processes along to AWS using native AWS services benefiting from built in resiliency and saving huge on cost. We deep dive into Step Functions, Lambda, CloudWatch Event Rules, EMR etc and also look at some of the recent integrations which now make it easy to write processes connecting these services.

X Topic Abstract

X Topic Abstract

Gone are the days where we had to keep writing scripts to keep monitoring just to look for alerts to be set up. Most of the time, the alerts could be cumbersome, especially when we talk about Enterprise infrastructure. AIOps proactively monitors system health, reduces alert storms, remediates issues quickly, and escalates automatically. It’s the latest and greatest technology for IT Operations teams. However, are we ready for it or do we still need to get ready for it?

Systems and services should move towards self-healing. If they fail for some reason, they should have the means to come up, look for what they need, bring them up as well, so that there are continuous services that will be available. Helped one of the leading Pharmacy companies to build some part of the AIOps, whilst adopting DevOps Driven Simplification and this talk will cover the same.

X Topic Abstract

The main reason of test automation lagging behind in the software testing lifecycle and becoming a technical debt later, is the inability to conceptualise and create automation tests before the application is ready. Waiting for our application to be developed and stable to begin automating our tests may not be the smartest way and leads us to constantly playing catch-up with the new features. Sahi Pro's latest release 9.0 introduces the brand-new concept of Business Driven Test Automation (BDTA) which solves the problem of functional automation in a simple and elegant way. BDTA allows creation of Business Scenarios very early in the development cycle - right at the feature conceptualization stage. BDTA is an Intuitive and easy framework that allows business testers to automate their tests easily. Testers can express the business intent in natural language, record actions, parameterize and data drive the tests, all through an intuitive UI. Watch an informative hand-on demo on Business Driven Test Automation using Sahi Pro.
