This session will address the increasing focus on EX (Employee Experience) and asks if it is just a buzzword or if it really has a bigger role to play in driving an organization’s performance, brand value and overall culture. The session will take a practical approach to embracing EX and take examples from a few regional and global entities to address a series of questions: How does EX relate to Customer Experience (CX)? What are the cornerstones of EX? How can we leverage technology to reinforce the employee’s sense of belonging? How can we create experiences that continue to enrich, motivate, and demonstrate to employees that they are highly valued, their physical and virtual spaces are supportive, and their contributions are meaningful, in line with the organization’s goals and values?

X Topic Abstract

Stepping into the new decade with new hopes, opportunities for companies and employees alike; I can safely say that the single most important factor is how we (companies and HR) are perceived by others.

All experiences - both positive and negative have a bearing on how the world sees us and everything is available for public consumption thanks to the myriad of platforms like glass door, indeed etc. and of course word-of-mouth.

In this era then how much more crucial is it to manage the employee experiences in every touch-point of the employee life cycle?

Is being a good employer - really good enough and also how do you measure good?

These and some other interesting pointers make for a thought provoking conversation around Employee experiences in today's reality.

X Topic Abstract

The meteoric rise of Artificial Intelligence and its untapped potential have taken the world by storm. As a new era of Industrial revolution 4.0 dawns on us, we find ourselves surrounded by a higher uncertainty and complexity while igniting a spark of debates on whether AI will supersede the human race, take over our jobs and render us a “useless generation”. There is another perspective where humans increasingly collaborate with AI to challenge existing limits and push frontiers which hitherto seemed impossible or unrealistic.

Key questions that come to the fore are:

. What will the workforce of tomorrow look like? How do we get the most out of AI?
. How do we equip ourselves for these uncertain times?
. What will the AI- Human equation be like : Dependence, Independence, or Interdependence?

The talk will attempt to address some of the questions outlined above by drawing live examples and stories from Organizations who are preparing themselves for the workforce of the future.
