Workshop Overview

Aim

This workshop is intended to inform users as to what exactly RPA is, and how to plan to leverage it in their organization to realize cost savings and efficiency gains. Users will be able to:

• Define what RPA is
• Identify appropriate processes in their environment for automation
• Prepare and orchestrate a Proof of Concept
• Prepare a business case to launch an initial project
• Prepare a roadmap for 3 to 5 years
• Gain an awareness of associated technologies (ML, AI, NLP, etc) and their potential application in each users environment

Workshop Background & Overview

This workshop was conceived from a need identified at countless other RPA events, users are not clear on how to get started with this technology, what kind of budget to plan for, who to turn to for guidance or support and how to prepare an effective business case.

The workshop will deal with the terminology and separate the marketing hype from the reality. It will also give the user some guidance on how to extend an automation strategy going forward, as tangent technologies evolve and become less expensive (Machine Learning, AI, Natural Language Processors, Automated Analytics…)
